My names James and welcome to Faster-Fitness. I’ve been training people on a 1-1 and group basis for over 12 years now and I still love it as much as ever. I still get a huge buzz out of watching people achieve what they thought they could not. I still love the look on a clients face when they complete something that at the start of the session made them say “I can’t do that”!

If I’m honest I’m not a trainer that’s into the “body beautiful” I prefer the term “Body Capable”. I believe there’s no reason people can’t achieve a good looking physique with out it becoming the sole focus of their training.

I train functional, no fixed one dimensional machines, all free moving strength training.
Postural, Movement, Mobility and overall body, not isolated muscle group, but functional strength.
Does this still get me a good physique? to be honest yeah, I feel i’m in the best shape of my life and lifting heavier for longer than I’ve ever done in the past.
Does this get my heart pumping? YES I’m fitter cardio wise now in my forties than 20 years ago doing heavy bench press!!
Last year I completed a Tough Mudder with a client who runs marathons and spent the whole time telling me “I hate you, you don’t even run and I can’t keep up”!!
